Directed by Gavin Dutot and Nick (Nightwolf) Braunton, this adaptation used a blend of narration, song and puppetry to draw the audience into the world of Tolkien's classic tale, taking us from the battle between Sauron and Isuldur to Bilbo Baggins' humble hobbit hole, and on to the dragon infested mountain halls of the dwarves.
