The Invisible Angels project is Maverick and St Clement's Church’s support for the children of Romania. Despite having joined the EU conditions for many in Romania are still financially and physically appalling.
The project focuses on the Casa Harului, or The House of Grace, in the Carpathian Mountains, a project run to supply a holiday for groups of children and disabled who have no chance of one otherwise. Through the House of Grace our teams have come to know the youngsters of the Betania Orphanage in Uricani. The orphanage is very underfunded and there have been times over the last few years when St Clement’s and Maverick have been the children’s only hope of food and heat.
Sorin Rezmives, one of the orphans from Uricani has been adopted by Maverick's Artistic Director Gavin and now lives and attends college here in Dorset

Our aim with the Invisible Angels project is to help keep these projects going by contributing to the invisible costs like water, gas, electricity etc.
We regularly send a team led by Gav to see the kids and hand over the money that Maverick has raised since there last visit. It is very important to the children at the projects that we bring helpers/friends of there own age.
