The Invisible Angels project is Maverick's attempt to help a very worthy cause. In Romania there are an astounding number of orphans, and as the countries economy suffers, so do they. This project focuses on one childrens centre, the Casa de Harulai, or House of Grace, near the Carpathian mountains, and its associated holiday home in the mountains themselves. It is home to many orphans, and is permanently low on funding. What we aim to do with the Invisible Angels project is to help keep these projects going by contributing to the invisible costs like water gas electricity etc, and to help with the good work they do.
We send out a team once a year led by Gav to go and see the kids, talk to them, share some good times, and hand over the money that Maverick has raised that year. Many of our members keep in contact with their friends in Romania, and write to them often.
